Hier j'ai eu un problème similaire avec grub que j'ai résolu plutôt facilement. Le problème de partitions déjà plus difficile mais résolu aussi

Il te faut Supergrub que tu dois graver sur cd rom http://supergrub.forjamari.linex.org/?section=download

puis booter gnu linux directly

Merci jurgentj. Je viens donc d'essayer super grub, mais même résultat. Il n'arrive pas à réinstaller grub, ni même à démarrer. En manuel, je vois mes partitions, sélectionne la bonne partition, et j'ai une réponse du genre :

Voilà, à mon avis, d'après Filesystem type unknown, le type de fichier de ma partition ext3 n'existe plus, ou tout du moins n'est plus reconu. Ca corresponderait aux erreurs que j'ai décrit dans mon post ci dessus. Je vais chercher dans cette direction, mais si quelqu'un a quelque chose à me proposer, je suis preneur. Merci.

sudo parted /dev/sda unit chs print

Je ne pense pas que l'on puisse réparer grand chose, mais peux-tu également essayer de monter ta partition
comme dans le tuto de cep en multipliant par 4 et en ajoutant 1 au résultat final.

Une dernière question étais-tu en ext3 ou en ext2 ?

Normalement, mes partitions étaient en ext3. Et je trouve assez bizzare qu'il me renvoit du FAT16 pour la primary. humhum... j'essaie de rajouter 1 aux chiffres du tuto de cep et je te donne la réponse dans 2 sec.

Bon, donc j'ai refait le tuto de CEP http://www.cepcasa.info/parted/recupfs.html en ajoutant 1 ou en essayant de modifier le type de fichier ext3 par vfat. Toujours la même réponse au moment du montage:

Salut canard metallique,

Pour grub n'essaye pas de réinstaller le grub avec supergrub, tu le feras une fois ta session existante démarrée.

Fait comme celà :

boot à partir du cd, ensuite choisi en langue française, ensuite menu GNU/LINUX tu choisi boot GNU/LINUX directly en choisissant ta partition. N'hésite pas à appuyer une seconde fois sur entrée une fois que tu as choisis la partition à démarrer. Sans rien changer la partition a booter après 3 - 4 essais chez moi. Par la suite il te faudra faire toute la manip dans ta session pour réinstaller le grub et là la marche à suivre se trouve dans mon post dont je t'ai donné le lien.

Tiens moi au courant.

20 Go c'est beaucoup pour une clé usb.
Et fat16 c'est le format usuel pour une clé usb, n'as-tu pas par mégarde copié ta clé usb sur ton disque dur ?

Re salut,

J'avais oublié de préciser qu'une fois réussi à démarrer mon système linux, j'ai désinstallé et réinstallé carrément le grub avec la commande sudo apt-get remove grub et ensuite sudo apt-get install grub grub-doc Par la suite j'ai modifié le fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst car il y avait pour ma part un problème dans le menu, la partition indiqué en toute fin de ce fichier n'existait plus elle était marquée en hd0,8 alors qu'en faite elle se trouvait en hd0,7 d'où l'erreur chez moi.

Perso je ferais lors du redémarrage de ton système avec supergrub gnu/linux directly les commandes suivantes :
Console :

grub --batch
find /boot/grub/stage1
root (direction donnée par la commande du dessus chez moi hd0,7) => root (hd0,7)
setup (hd0) (pour le MBR)

ensuite ça devrait être bon

Mais le plus important est de pouvoir démarrer ta partition avec supergrub pas avec le live CD car je pense pas que tu puisses intervenir dirèctement à tout autrement.

Il faut à tout prix forcer le démarrage avec GNU/LINUX Directly dans supergrub

hummm effectivement.. en l'écrivant mainetnant, je viens de me rendre compte que j'ai bien adapté le chemin du répertoire à ma clé usb, mais que j'ai laissé /dev/sda1... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH quel nul.. du tout s'explique, j'ai copié ma clé usb sur mon sda1.. c'est ca? Bon me voilà bien puni... y a-t-il une solution? 😃 Je rééssaye supergrub, mais je ne suis sur que ca vaille la peine.. j'ai toujours l'error 15 en suivant ta méthode jurgentj.. ce qui me parait normal au vu des faits ... :S

la seule solution c'est d'essayer de monter ta partition tel que décrit dans le tuto de cep, et de récupérer les données qui peuvent l'être.

Théoriquement tu n'as pas pu copier une partie très importante sur le disque dur, le superbloc primaire est corrompu, mais tu aurais dû pouvoir en monter un autre.

Peux-tu poster le résultat de :

sudo od -j134217728 -N512 -Ax -tx1z -v /dev/sda1 | grep "ef 53"

non, cela veut dire qu'il ne trouve pas ce qu'il cherche.

Si tu as suivi le tuto de cep dans sa mine d'or (le trésor de cep) :

et que tu as essayé avec tous tes superblocs, il ne te reste que les outils de récupération tel que Testdisk et phorec.

Désolé de ne pas avoir pu t'aider d'avantage. Comme il n'est apparemment plus possible de booter sur ton système même via supergrub j'avoue que je suis un peu à court d'idées.

Bonjour, je profite de ce sujet pour exposer mon probleme, histoire de ne pas polluer le forum avec encore un même sujet 🙂

Donc j'ai un disque dur contennant 1 partition NTFS de 20Go (mon windows XP) et une autre de 220Go, toujours en NTFS.
AVec une knoppix et qparted, je redimensionne la 220Go en 200 Go, me laissant ainsi 20Go de libre à la fin de mon disque dur

Puis j'installe Ubuntu 7.04 en crééant, depuis l'installateur Ubuntu, une partition ext3 de 19Go et une swap de 1Go

TT se déroule bien et au reboot : Error 17

Au boot il te fera error 17 ensuite appuye sur une touche tu tomberas sur un menu dans lequel cette nouvelle entrée se trouvera. Sélectionne celle-ci normalement ça démarrera. Si c'est le cas retour dans le menu.lst et enlève l'ancien ubuntu localisé en hd0,2
