J'ai été intéressé par le concept du fairphone, à la fois le coté équitable, l'ouverture et l'espoir qu'on ne m'imposera pas une surcouche liberticide et fouineuse avec du google partout.
Et je suis très intéressé par le fait pouvoir éventuellement faire tourner Ubuntu sur mon téléphone.
L'équipe qui développe le fairphone se montre ouverte mais ils ont besoin d'aide:

J'ai eu cette réponse que j'ai de leur part :
We are planning to launch the phone with root access for the user (rootable), so they can decide for themselves which operating system they want to install after some hard coding. We will not actively develop an Ubuntu operating system ourselves. At this point, we really need the support of open-source communities – people who develop for Ubuntu – to help us optimize our device for this operating system. Once the necessary development environment can be released for third party development, we will support the developer communities to make alternative operating systems compatible with the Fairphone. So technically it is possible to run the Fairphone with Ubuntu, but it will have to be developed.
