J'utilise Kile (1.9.3) sous Ubuntu (7.04) et souhaite installer le paquet amsmath (
http://www.ams.org/tex/amslatex.html). Je n'ai malheureusement pas réussi... Je ne sais simplement pas ou mettre les diférents dossiers du paquet (bibtex, doc, source, tex) et mes divers essais ont tous échoué.
Si je lis le handbook of kile, il est écrit:
"you could for instance use /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ucs/ (make sure this is actually your $TEXMF path, as it sometimes change depending on the distribution you use!"
Mais je ne sais pas comment vérifier quel est le bon répertoire $TEXMF...
En regardant sur le readme d'amsmath, il y a:
If you have a relatively up-do-date TeX system that complies with the
TeX Directory Structure (TDS) standard, installing according to the
instructions in section I below is the easiest method. See
http://www.tug.org/tds/tds.pdf
for details on the TDS standard. If your TeX system does not comply
with the TDS standard, please contact the manufactuer of your TeX
system for details on how to install third-party TeX packages.
The first step is to identify the TEXMF folder that contains files used
by LaTeX. To do this, look for the file article.cls. If you find, e.g.,
/usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/article.cls
then we will define TEXMF to mean /usr/local/share/texmf (everything
up to the /tex/latex/base part)

Quelqu'un peut-il m'indiquer dans quel dossier je dois mettre le package?
Ya-t-il en fait une manière plus simple d'installer ces paquets?
