Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
Mardi 9 après une mise à niveau de Kde au redémarrage de kontact, j'ai eu le message suivant:

Le client de messagerie a rencontré une erreur fatale et va s'arrêter maintenant.
L'erreur était :
Could not create collection trash resourceId: 3

Je n'ai pu terminer mes recherches sur le Net car mon disque dur m'a lâche.....
Ce matin j'ouvre Kmail avec mon autre portable (les deux DD étaient identiques) et devinez quoi ?
Ben Woui...........le même message à l'ouverture de Kmail.
J'ai réussi à copier le détail du "gestionnaire de pannes KDE"

Car le gestionnaire de pannes n'apparait pas à tous les coups (et ce n'ai pas toujours la même prose)

Même profil ?

La dernière fois que j'ai eu ce type de message c'était avec Thunderbird avec un plan MX d'OVH.
Comme même en ouvrant un ticket chez OVH j'en aurais pour six mois avant d'avoir une réponse valable j'ai déplacé le corbeille (trash) en local depuis les paramètres de Thunderbird.

Mais à mon avis si tu utilises le même profil cela doit venir du dossier de configuration de Kmail. Tu peux essayer de le déplacer temporairement pour voir si ça règle le problème.

Pas accès à la configuration graphique de Kmail ??? C'est un client graphique à ce que je sache.
Tu n'as pas besoin de trifouiller. Tu déplaces le dossier de config d'origine.
N'ayant pas utilisé Kmail depuis 2007 je ne connais pas le nom exactement du chemin mais si tu ne fais que renommer le dossier de configuration et tester avec un nouveau profil tu seras si le problème vient de Kmail et non du serveur et si ce n'est pas le cas restaurer facilement l'ancien profil.

Kmail est bien sur un client graphique et je me suis mal exprimé .
Ce que je voulais dire c'est que je ne peux accéder à la configuration de Kmail car :
1- je n'y ai pas accès lorsque la fenêtre de message d'erreur apparaît...
2- lorsque je clique sur OK de cette fenêtre d'erreur Kmail se ferme....
Il ne me reste plus qu'à essayer de trouver ou se trouve le ou les fichiers de config....

Je vais télécharger Kubuntu 12.04 cette nuit (petite connexion) pour voir où se trouve le dossier de configuration de Kmail et essayer de t'aider.

Mes recherches m'ont amené sur:

Point 3.1 Transférer courriers et paramètres à un autre ordinateur (ou un autre compte utilisateur sur la même machine)
J'ai passé tout les répertoires préconisés dans Komparator4....
C'était un peu le bor...el : j'ai surtout noté que des fichiers (de la sauvegarde) étaient transformés en dossiers (sur mon ordi) ....
Finalement j 'ai copié / collé tout ce qui est préconisé (tout du moins pour ceux que j'ai trouvé).
Et bien ça marche j'ai retrouvé non Kmail comme avant.
