Je possede un ASUS x75vc.
Depuis l'installation de ubuntu 14.04 sur mon pc, il est impossible d'avoir internet par le wifi !
Avec la commande "iwconfig" j'obtiens :
eth0 no wireless extensions.
wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=off

J'ai tester de réediter les fichiers interfaces:
sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
En rajoutant ces deux lignes (comme expliqué dans un lien ubuntu):
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
Apres un redémarage je n'avais meme plus ethernet :/ donc retour avec le doc interface original

Je vient de retrouver mon wifi malheureusement je ne sais pas comment j'ai réellement fait.
j'ai juste constater qu'avec la comande :
rfkill list
que hard blocked de yes il est passer a no
