Wifi avec SSID caché (Intel Link 5100 non résolu)

Mon problème de wifi étant en fait 2 problèmes, le premier n'a pas été résolu concernait la carte wifi Intel 5100,
j'ai donc été obligé de changer de carte (Intel 7260) et cela à créer un autre problème, impossible de me connecté à mon Wifi avec SSID caché.

Mais voici comment faire :

Probleme de SSID caché résolu :

1. cliquer sur l icone wifi vers l horloge, puis "Modification des connections...",
puis AJOUTER, choisir dans la liste WIFI,
puis renseigner nom du SSID, type de protection, password.

2. cliquer sur l icone wifi vers l horloge, puis "se connecté à un WIFI invisible...",
puis dans la liste choisir la connection qu'on vient de creer,

et magie, cela marche....

tout ce qui suit après concerne le problème avec le Intel 5100 :

je me lance donc sur un os libre, car j'ai du ré-install mon vieux windows7 qui avait plusieurs années de bon et loyaux services, mais la ré-install en ne mettant pas tous les trackers à été compliquer, et migrer vers w10 ne me dit rien avec toute la télémétrie forcer... etc...

donc j'ai téléchargé ubuntu, au début j'ai tenter un 64bit, mais quand je l'ai lancé depuis windows, depuis une clef usb, le virtual box ne disait erreur 64bit.

j'ai pris donc l'image 32bit et tenter un lancement sans install depuis windows, clef usb, et ca a marché.

j'ai donc rebooter, formater, et installer.
(au passage j'ai gagner presque 100 go par rapport à windows)

mais malheur... mon wifi ne marche pas...

j'ai mis un cable, et installer, le pack de langue fr...
ensuite en cherchant pour mon wifi, j'ai installé hardinfo, et la carte semble bien là.

Question 1 :
en cherchant par internet, j'ai cru comprendre que mon processeur n'est pas un vrai 64bit, est-ce vrai ?
c'est pour cela que je suis obligé d'utiliser ubuntu 32bit ?
Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (pourtant il semble avoir le jeu d'instruction EM64T) mais il est considéré comme un i686 (???)

Question 2 :
pour ma carte wifi, en cherchant sur internet, il semble qu'il soit possible de l'utiliser avec un espece de drivers générique.
j'ai téléchargé ca mais je n'arrive pas à l'installé : https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi

et certain parle d'un autre gestionnaire wifi w...lag je ne sais plus le nom, mais quand je suis sous un terminal, aucun des 2 ne réponds, donc absent de mon système ?

j'aurai besoin d'un peu d'aide, car je ne connais pas les ligne de code de ubuntu, étant nouveau, il faudra bien le dire svp.

Mais j'ai connu et pratiqué le bon vieux dos, lol

Tu as peut-être crée ta machine virtuelle en 32 bits ? As-tu testé la version 64 bits en session live ? (Essai sans installer.)

Question 2 : Les incompatibilités matérielles, ce n'est pas mon fort :/
Tu as quoi comme ordi ? (Tour ? Portable ? Marque et modèle complet ?)

oui, pour le proc, c'est ce que j'avais rechercher comme info,
certains parlent d'une génération de proc avec un protocole 64bit particulier, pour la premiere génération...
mais pourtant l'image ubuntu 64bit ne marchait pas en "lançant depuis un clef usb, sous windows"

pour le pc, c'est vieux mini pc Aopen MP495, et j'y ai ajouté moi même une petite carte wifi dedans "Intel 5100"
certain on reussi à le faire fonctionner, et dans ce liens, il parle d'installer les firmware, le outils kernels, et wlswifi (un truc comme ça)

le readme parle aussi de faire des commandes (%...) avec le terminal, mais il semble que je l'écris mal, car ca ne marche pas :

1. OVERVIEW

The file iwlwifi-5000-5.ucode provided in this package must be
present on your system in order for the Intel Wireless WiFi Link
AGN driver for Linux (iwlagn) to operate on your system.

The "-5" in the filename reflects an interface/architecture version number.
It will change only when changes in new uCode releases make the new uCode
incompatible with earlier drivers.

On adapter initialization, and at varying times during the uptime of
the adapter, the microcode is loaded into the memory on the network
adapter.  The microcode provides the low level MAC features including
radio control and high precision timing events (backoff, transmit,
etc.) while also providing varying levels of packet filtering which can
be used to keep the host from having to handle packets that are not of
interest given the current operating mode of the device.

2. INSTALLATION

The iwlagn driver will look for the file iwlwifi-5000-5.ucode using the
kernel's firmware_loader infrastructure.  In order to function
correctly, you need to have this support enabled in your kernel.  When
you configure the kernel, you can find this option in the following
location:

        Device Drivers ->
                Generic Driver Options ->
                        Hotplug firmware loading support


You can determine if your kernel currently has firmware loader support
by looking for the CONFIG_FW_LOADER definition on your kernel's
.config.

In addition to having the firmware_loader support in your kernel, you
must also have a working hotplug and udev infrastructure configured.
The steps for installing and configuring hotplug and udev are very
distribution specific.

Once you have the firmware loader in place (or if you aren't sure and
you just want to try things to see if it works), you need to install
the microcode file into the appropriate location.

Where that appropriate location is depends (again) on your system
distribution.  You can typically find this location by looking in the
hotplug configuration file for your distro:

	% grep \"^FIRMWARE_DIR\" /etc/hotplug/firmware.agent

This should give you output like:

	FIRMWARE_DIR=/lib/firmware

If it lists more than one directory, you only need to put the
microcode in one of them.  In the above example, installation is
simply:

	% cp iwlwifi-5000-5.ucode /lib/firmware

You can now load the driver (see the INSTALL and README.iwlwifi provided with
the iwlwifi package for information on building and using that driver.)

Normal : il faut démarrer l'ordi sur ta clef. Pas l'ouvrir dans windows.

Mais pour le wifi, j'ai trouver dans /lib/firmware/
le fichier iwlwifi-5000-5.ucode

Mais quand clic sur l'icône réseau vers l'heure
je n'ai que ça d'afficher :

iwlwifi c'est quoi ? un gestionnaire ? programme ?

il semble que ma carte wifi soit gérer par iwlwifi
j'ai tenté : sudo apt-get install iwlwifi

et il me dit :

E: Impossible de trouver le paquet iwlwifi
