Bonjour tout le monde 🙂

Je viens de d'installer Kubuntu 16.04.1 avec les mises a jour, lors du boot j'ai quelques messages d'erreurs, je voudrais faire le point, si c'est important ou pas

je ne sais pas si c'est la bonne commande, j'ai essayer ceci :

Après quelques recherche, j'ai trouvé un post avec des erreurs similaire, il semble que c'est du au disque dur.

@joffrey : les retours de commandes et contenus de fichiers de configuration sont à mettre entre balises code, pas des balises de citation. Alors dans ton message #2, si tu remplace les "quote" par des "code", ça piquera beaucoup moins les yeux… Et à l'avenir utiliser le <> de l'éditeur de message :

Il y a effectivement un secteur illisible sur ce disque. Et le disque n'a pas réussi à le remplacer par un secteur de spare (secteur de rechange)

On peut tenter de le réhabiliter ou de forcer le disque à le remplacer par un spare.

D'après l'extrait ci-dessous de smarctl il devrait s'agir du secteur 60. Mais l'info donnés par smartcl n'est pas toujours exploitable directement

Hum j'ai fait un peu de dyslexie. La bonne commande c'est :

sudo dmesg | grep "I/O error"

Quoique le secteur 60 semble bien être endommagé. Je veux juste vérifier que ce disque ne sert pas au démarrage (grub)

sudo debconf-show grub-pc
sudo ls -l /dev/disk/by-id/

PS: le modérateur a raison, les balises codes rendent les retour de commandes plus lisibles (bouton <>)

Bon le secteur 60 remporte la palme à l’unanimité...

Comme il s'agit d'un emplacement inutilisé situé entre la table de partition et la partition elle même, il n'y a pas vraiment de conséquence. Et pas de précaution particulière à prendre pour tenter la réparation

Précisément la commande hdparm -write permet d'écrire sans lecture préalable du secteur. Ce qui permet de contourner une erreur de somme de contrôle.

Maintenant on peut aller voir si le secteur a été réhabilité ou si un secteur de spare a été utilisé en remplacement.

L'incident résultait probablement d'une mise hors tension du disque en cours d'écriture. Dans ce cas, le disque n'a pas eu le temps d'écrire une somme de contrôle cohérente avec les données, ce qui donne ce genre de problème...

tu es trop fort 🙂 pas une erreur au boot, par contre le disque est t'il fiable pour faire de la sauvegarde ?

Malgré ses 11000 heures de vol, ce disque ne présente pas de signe de défaillance.
Quoiqu'il en soit faire régulièrement un double des sauvegardes sur un autre support. Ou mieux alterner les sauvegardes sur 2 disques réduit grandement le risque de perte de données.
