Bonjour
Je suis nouveau sur Ubuntu. Après plusieurs recherches et essais-erreurs sur le système 16.04 LTS, j'avance à petit pas mais je bloque sur la résolution du problème ''signal wi-fi très faible''. Je vous envois les informations demandées en espérant le tout conforme à vos demande. Merci beaucoup pour votre aide. Pour ne pas nuire à vos effort pour résoudre mon problème, je ne touche plus à rien.

Le 21/01/2014, toutafai a écrita tous ceux qui sont avec de l'ASUS :

Essayer cette modification, facilement "réversible" :
gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
A la fin du fichier, rajouter la ligne suivante :
blacklist asus_nb_wmi

a tous ceux qui sont avec de l'ASUS :

Essayer cette modification, facilement "réversible" :

gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

A la fin du fichier, rajouter la ligne suivante :

blacklist asus_nb_wmi

Enregistrer la modification, rebooter et tester si le wifi est ok

mais je l'ai quand même refais pour suivre tes conseilles. Sans résultat malheureusement. Je te donne ce que j'ai eu dans le terminal avant le sudo reboot.

Tu avais installé l'éditeur de texte : [doc]gedit[/doc] ?
Pour l'installer :

sudo apt-get install gedit

ainsi que le gestionnaire de l'éditeur graphique :

sudo apt-get install gksu

Je viens de les réinstallers et je ré-essais la méthode de toutafai.

J'ai tenté cette manipulation.

I. Présentation

Les liaisons wifi peuvent se faire sur un choix de 13 ou 14 canaux sur lesquels elles peuvent se positionner. Pour relier deux éléments wifi entre eux (par exemple un laptop et une box), ceux-ci ont besoin de « parler » sur le même channel (canal). Le plus souvent, ce sont les channels 11 et 6 qui sont utilisés en Europe.
II. la marche à suivre

Pour changer sa carte wifi de channel, il faut plusieurs lignes de commande. Dans cette illustration, nous nommerons notre interface wifi « wlan0« . Il faut d’abord désactiver notre interface puis la passer en mode managed afin de pouvoir modifier sa configuration:

ifconfig wlan0 down
iwconfig wlan mode managed

Nous la réactivons ensuite pour la changer de channel, par exemple nous la mettons ici sur le channel 5 :

ifconfig wlan0 up
iwconfig wlan0 channel 5

Il est aussi possible de la mettre en channel auto, l’interface cherchera alors le channel du correspondant indiqué et ce positionnera sur le même channel que celui ci. Nous désactivons à nouveau l’interface pour la repasser en mode monitor. Puis nous la réactivons définitivement pour établir la connexion :

ifconfig wlan0 down
iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
ifconfig wlan0 up

En modifiant divers variables comme: wlp3s0 et enp4s0 à la place de wlan0 et le résultat:
