Portable dell Latitude E6410
Il y a un interrupteur matériel (bluetooth et wifi) mais il est activé
Dans le bios c'est activé aussi.
Ça marchait avant il y a un mois.

Je crois (bien que je m'y connaisse pas mais je sais lire que la carte wifi est une BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n en attendant un conseil je vais voir si je trouve quelque chose

Il ne s'agit pas de mon portable et je ne l'ai sous la main que cet aprèm.

Quelqu'un ayant le même composant wifi a résolu le problème en passant à la 16.04. Il semble y avoir un problème déclaré sur le launchpad, mais non résolu.

Je pense que je vais conseiller ça à la dame. Mais en attendant on lui a passé un câble Éthernet long, elle ira de la cuisine au salon avec...
Plus tard je lui ferai la mise à niveau en ligne ou en dur.

Edit : La dame est une des membres du club informatique d'aînés que j'anime depuis 7 ans avec un ami. On les a tous fait passer sur Ubuntu, souvent sur des portables qu'on leur a trouvé d'occase sur le web (des dell gamme professionnelle en général) qui marchent super bien. Dans des cas comme ça de régression lors d'une mise à jour, on se pose la question d'avoir vraiment fait un bon choix. Mais bon c'est la première fois que ça arrive.
Le bug concernant ce module wifi a été signalé, mais les mises à jour de 14.04 qui ont suivi n'ont pas réglé le problème. Et faire des lignes de commande, ça dépasse les compétences de ces personnes. Le petite dame devait être chez elle à 16 heures, son mari ancien maçon a été opéré de la colonne vertébrale, alors bon je n'allais pas lancer une mise à niveau !
