Aujourd'hui ça connecte, puis déconnecte, puis reconnecte… demande pas systématiquement le mot de passe.

Avec retour aux paramètres par défaut.

Je penche donc pour un bête problème de réception du signal…

Problème matériel écarté : j'ai nettoyé le pc et vérifié les branchements avant de faire ces essais. De plus je trouve bien des réseaux wifi, seul le mien manque à l'appel, souvent.

Quant au module ath9k il est bien chargé, sans besoin de forcer quoi que ce soit.

D'où ma supposition sur la qualité de réception : le pc est dans un coin d'une pièce quasiment au sol, et la box dans un coin d'une autre pièce, à peu près à la même hauteur. Mais pour l'instant je ne sais déplacer ni l'un ni l'autre. Et la bbox ça fait des années que je la traîne, genre 6 ou 7 ans !

Faut que je vois s'il y a moyen de mettre des rallonges aux antennes, ou si une feuille d'alu bien placée peut faire des miracles ;-)

§ 3.1 a écritLes cartes WIFI Atheros fonctionnent plus ou moins facilement sous GNU/Linux Ubuntu au gré des versions. Un pilote unique est utilisé pour tous les modèles, le module ath5k ou ath9k. Parfois, ce pilote ne fonctionne que partiellement et des réglages/optimisations sont nécessaires selon les modèles de cartes.

Tu as eu des soucis avec les Ralink et maintenant Atheros. C'est pas de bol. 🙁

Oh je vois que tu suis bien l'affaire 😃 et pourtant avant d'acheter cette carte tp-link je m'étais assuré qu'elle est bien reconnue par Linux, par là il me semble http://www.linux-hardware-guide.com/2012-11-01-tp-link-tl-wn881nd-wireless-n-pcie-300mbps

Maintenant puisque je vois bien des réseaux wifi - hormis le mien qui est souvent absent - ça me porte à croire que la carte fonctionne, et qu'il s'agit davantage d'un problème de réception, disposition, antennes…

J'ai dupliqué ton conseil d'acheter un dongle wifi. pour les cartes Ralink à plusieurs reprises.

Moi, je recycle les solutions des membres expérimentés. 😉
