Bonjour !

Je post mon premier message 🙂.

Je possède un pc portable G501jw, je suis globalement satisfait de ma petite Ubuntu mais depuis la mise à jour en 17.04, j'ai mon interface graphique qui plante lamentablement. (Coïncidence, j'ai également installé keepass.. ?)

Quand je possède plusieurs appli dans mon Control Panel et que je passe de l'une à l'autre je me retrouve déconnecté, et tout mes programmes sont fermé et je peux donc me reloger. C'est un peu aléatoire, mais pour bosser c'est juste horrible, je passe dans un autre tty.

Beaucoup de log sur 1s, ça revient en boucle.
Les logs ne m'aident pas beaucoup, je sais pas si sa parle à quelqu'un ? Je n'ai pas trouvé grand chose sur la toile.

Sinon dans le pire des cas, est-il possible de changer d’interface graphique sans engendrer trop de dysfonctionnement (proprement sans réinstaller)?
Perso je serais plus cinnamon voir mate.

Effectivement c'est plus propre.
J'avais laissé volontairement plusieurs fois le message pour le diag.

Alors j'ai regardé sur le net, mais rien de concret à part que c'est pas forcement Unity on dirait. D'après le message on dirait clairement un problème de droit. J'ai refait quelques tests, j'ai lancé plusieurs terminals via la recherche. Quand je switch sur une autre fenêtre et que je clique sur ma barre pour récupérer mes terminals, il aime pas et plante. j'ai également essayé avec une autre application (Chrome). On dirait que c'est la gestion du multi-fenêtrage... Il y a t-il une commande pour restaurer toutes les configurations par défaut d'Unity ?

Pas de solution à ton problème malheureusement mais :

C'est la raison pour laquelle il est recommandé de rester en LTS soit 16.04 Ubuntu Xenial Xerus ou 14.04 😉
A plus forte raison si tout fonctionnait avant ...

As tu essayé d'ouvrir des applications en Root ou avec sudo ?

oui c'est pas faux mais je suis un aventurier... j'ai essayé en root et sudo, ça n'a rien donné non plus.

Alors la j'ai essayé d'enlever ma connexion automatique de ma session au démarrage de l'ordi (oui je sais c'est sale mais bon le mdp saute en 5 min via le grub), et j'ai passé le type de compte à 'administrateur' dans compte utilisateur. Bon sans surprise ça n'a pas marché. Par contre j'ai essayé avec le compte invité de me logué et surprise sa fonctionne quand je clique sur une appli ouverte plusieurs fois, les différents choix s'affiche à l'écran. Un fichier de conf a réinitialisé peut être?

J'ai également regardé le lien que tu m'as donné avant de poster, mais c'est un peu pauvre en info. Il y a pas beaucoup de commande, ni la structure d'Unity avec ses fichiers de conf.

Alors j'utilise plutôt aptitude (il parait qu'il faut éviter de mélanger les gestionnaires de paquet...)

Ah si c'est bon !! (mauvaise habitude à tout faire en root), il faut le faire en tant que user la réinitialisation du fichier de conf x_x.

Peux tu m'expliquer brièvement dconf? il garde les valeurs par défaut? et pourquoi redémarré unity avec un SID différent?

Merci bien ! j'ai même pas perdu mes raccourcis royal. J'essaie de regarder pour aider d'autre user avec mes 2 ou 3 notions mais c'est pas évident !!
