Je te suggère de faire une réinstallation toute neuve de Ubuntu. Pour ce faire, je te recommande de déconnecter le disque dur pour ne laisser que le SSD pendant l'installation de Ubuntu. Au lieu de créer une partition Bios Boot sur le SSD comme proposé par Babdu89, je te suggère de créer une nouvelle table de partition MSDOS (au lieu de GPT actuellement) sur ce SSD. Tout ce qu'il y a actuellement sur le SSD sera effacé et tu pourras faire l'installation avec une seule partition pour la racine dans le SSD (comme actuellement). Quant à la version de Ubuntu, je pense que tu peux réinstaller la version 14.04.1 qui se trouve sur ton LiveDVD puisque cette version est maintenue jusqu'en Avril 2019 (
source). Je ne crois pas qu'il serait intéressant dans ton cas d'en profiter pour installer la 16.04.
