wifi impossible sous Xubuntu 16.04.3

Bonsoir à tous,
Je viens d'installer Xubuntu en dual-boot sur ma machine et il me faut maintenant pouvoir me connecter à mon wifi or c'est impossible. Ma wifi n'est pas détectée automatiquement dans la session linux alors que dans la session windows elle l'est. Lorsque je rajoute manuellement une connexion wifi avec tous les champs remplis correctement (BSSID, MAC, SSID..) : toujours rien.
J'ai donc lu que c'etait souvent un probleme de drivers qui était a l'origine j'ai donc tenté de les installer grace aux commandes précisées dans la page des types de cartes wifi (je précise que ma carte wifi est une RTL8821AE) :

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential git 
git clone http://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.git
cd rtlwifi_new
make
sudo make install

Or des la premiere ligne, le terminal me renvoie l'erreur suivante :

Changement de clé fait, lorsque je me connecte à ma session je suis directement connecté à ma wifi mais une fois si je vais sur internet au bout d'un moment ma connexion s'arrete et impossible d'y re-avoir accès.

et dans mes recherches, pour installer le pilote, j'ai trouvé cette réponse :

Le 06/08/2012, xavier4811 a écritTu dois pas être dans le bon dossier.
Quand tu ouvre le terminal, tape la commande

pwd

pour savoir ou tu te trouve.
Ensuite si tu a décompressé le dossier sur le bureau tu devrait pouvoir y accéder avec

cd ~/Bureau/rtl_   ##après les 3 premières lettres appuie sur TAB pour compléter le nom du dossier.

Tu n'a pas besoin de sudo su pour compiler, un simple make doit suffire.
ne lance pas d'autre commande si make ne se termine pas correctement par :

make
make -C /lib/modules/3.2.0-29-generic/build M=/home/xavier/Téléchargements/rtl_92ce_92se_92de_linux_mac80211_0005.1230.2011 modules
...
...
make[2]: quittant le répertoire « /usr/src/linux-headers-3.2.0-29-generic »

je viens d'essayer et ça passe tout seul.

par contre après la compilation

sudo make install

pour installer et reboot
