XFCE 17.10 - doucle clic sans effet

Bonjour,

Depuis la mise à jour vers la 17.10, je ne peut plus ouvrir des fichiers par les applications associées par le double clic de la souris, par le menu et "ouvrir avec..." j'ai le sablier qui tourne puis rien. Je dois aller dans le menu (clic droit), aller chercher l'application par "ouvrir avec une autre application".
J'ai cherché sur plusieurs forum et à première vue, je n'ai pas trouvé de solution.

Voici la version de XFCE:

Houlà !
Ton sources.list contient le dépôt proposed qui est toxique (paquets expérimentaux)
Tes PPA sont pour la plupart en version zesty (par ailleurs plus maintenue) alors que tu es en artful.
Tu as des PPA toxiques (nilatimogard webupd8team...

On peut tenter un nettoyage, mais je me demande si une réinstallation ne sera pas plus rapide...

J'ai fait une reinstallation avec XUBUNTU 17.04
et cela remarche.
J'installe Nautilus (je préfere pour ses options), et retour du défaut.
Si j'utilise le gestionnaire de fichier natif de Xfce thunar; pasde soucis, mais sous Nautilus, la dernière mise à jour ne permet pas de lancer les appli par double clic.
Donc, je reste sous Thunar

en principe lorsque tu fait "ouvrir avec une autres applications" tu choisis une appli et clic sur ajouter à la liste
pour retrouver tes divers choix dans "ouvrir avec"

Concernant les version soutenu 5 ans, ce sont les LTS chaque deux ans 14.04 16.04 18.04 etc..
qui offre une mise à jour direct du système, les autre ..10 ne sont que des intermédiaires qui ne permettent pas
de passer par exemple de la 17.10 à la 18.04.

A éviter d'installer les versions d'octobre sauf si tu as ton Home sur une autre partitions.
Cela permet une installation de la version 18.04 futur plus facile en gardant tes paramètres.
compte tenue du fait que ubuntu s'installe en racine / et les paramètres et programmes en Home.
c'est plus facile de réinstaller en cas de soucis par cette gestion du pc.

C'est tout à fait faux ! On pourra parfaitement faire une mise à niveau de 17.10 à 18.04 (si on est dans les temps).

Sinon Eric Leguebe ne nous a pas dit si il avait ou non un /home séparé,je pense que oui vu qu'il a très facilement fait une réinstallation (malheureusement pas d'une bonne version : une 16.04 aurait été plus sage, une 17.10 possible, vu que dans tous les car ça nettoie les errements avec les PPA)

Bonjour,

J'avais la 17.04 sur une clef, puis j'ai fait une mise à jour vers la 17.10, non sans mal car, la 17.04 est inconnu .
J'ai un SDD avec / le reste est sur HDD ainsi que /TMP /VAR /HOME sur des partitions distinctes.

Pour mon problème lancement de logiciel par Nautilus, ça ne marche que pas le menu et autre appli, pas directement.
J'ai supprimé Nautilus et j'utilise le gestionnaire fournis avec Xfce qui est Thunar et pas de soucis.
