Si tu as besoin je peux me connecter dans la session de madame c'est le premier compte. j'ai cru comprendre que le 1er compte créer sur Ubuntu est le compte principal?

J'ai pour habitude de mettre des "_" (du numéro 8) devant mes dossiers en cours pour les faire remontés (sur win xp) et je ferais attention aussi aux espaces.

Les _ ( underscore ) c'est pas mal. Par excessive prudence sous Linux dans les noms de fichiers n'utilise que les caractères alphanumériques ainsi que _ et -
Dans l'absolu d'autres caractères sont utilisables mais avec ceux-là on est sûr que ça passe partout, y compris hors Linux…
Et Linux fait le distingo entre majuscule et minuscule : Mon_Fichier ≠ mon_fichier
Enfin jamais de < > / ? : \ | ' * $

J'ai noté dans mon dossier perso que certains des dossiers cachés avaient des points devant.

Voui. C'est d'ailleurs à ça qu'on reconnaît un fichier caché sous Linux : son nom commence par un point.

Non. Enfin pas vraiment : à l'installation le compte que tu crées est forcément administrateur. Mais rien ne t'empêche ensuite de créer de nouveaux comptes et de supprimer ce premier, tant qu'il y en a au moins un qui a les droits administrateurs ( c'est à dire qui a la possibilité de passer des commandes via sudo ) Le premier compte créé sous Ubuntu a un identifiant numérique 1000. Le prochain compte créé sera 1001, le suivant 1002, etc…

Non non le retour d'apt update n'est pas complet ou du moins il n'est pas bon car bloqué par l'erreur avec le cdrom… On devrait y voir à la fin un truc du genre

Il faut désactiver (commenter) la ligne :
deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 16.04 LTS _Xenial Xerus_ - Release amd64 (20160420.1)]/ xenial main restricted
dans sources.list en mettant "# " devant.

Ça peut se faire avec cette simple commande :

sudo sed -i 's/^\(deb cdrom.*\)/# \1/g' /etc/apt/sources.list

Thunderbird ne s'ouvrait plus du tout et quand j'ai remis le patch français j'ai pu le rouvrir avec ma feinte :

1/ en haut à droite du bureau je clic sur l'enveloppe puis "Rédiger un nouveau courriel" et ensuite...
2/ toujours en haut à droite du bureau je reclic sur l'enveloppe puis "messagerie Thunderbird"...
3/ ensuite je remets tous les codes un par un pour les quatre comptes

Une autre info peut-être inutile? La valise orange : logiciels Ubuntu. A l'installation de ma session, les onglets "tous" et "installées" étaient remplis mais maintenant, "tous" =7 et "installées"=3 ça fait pas lourd...

Pour le sources.list qui n'est pas tout propre et qui n'a pas les backports, simplifions nous la vie avec ces commandes :

@Nam : le même sources.list posté au #15 ne t'avait pas spécialement fait réagir ;-)

La logithèque ( valise orange ) qui ne voit pas tout → ça peut venir de ce sources.list bancal.
Ce fichier sources.list contient la liste de « dépôts de logiciels » ( des serveurs web en gros ) spécifiques à ta distribution Ubuntu, que ton système consulte afin de contrôler l'état des mises à jour et éventuellement télécharger les paquets plus récents. Si ce fichier est boîteux, c'est tout ton système qui peut le devenir faute de mises à jour cohérente !
À côté du fichier sources.list il y a le dossier sources.list.d qui lui contient d'autres dépôts de logiciels non spécifiques à ta distribution, généralement les ppa qu'on ajoute manuellement.

Au post #47 Nam te propose de remplacer ton fichier sources.list merdeux par un fichier tout propre généré via le site https://repogen.simplylinux.ch qui contient :

Donc si je comprends bien :
a. tu arrives à lancer TB depuis le menu messagerie de l'interface Unity, mais pas depuis son lanceur « icône » dans le menu des applications ?
b. pour ce TB lancé depuis le menu messagerie, il faut à chaque fois que tu re-renseignes tes paramètres de comptes mails ?

( je suspecte un problème plus large, mais assurons-nous déjà d'un système à jour, post précédent ).

Et si tu lances

depuis un terminal depuis ta session et ton utilisateur ( pas de sudo donc ! ) que raconte-t-il ?

Bonjour,

Je parlais des problèmes Ubuntu avec ma copine et elle m'a rappelé que des fenêtres de mises à jour apparaissaient. Chaque fois qu'elle cliquait sur installer ça faisait le téléchargement mais la fin une fenêtre disait "mise à jour échouée".
Quelque fois sa souris se figeait et l'ordi plantait avec chromium fb et jeux fb, avec firefox elle me dit ça ramait.
Moi je suis sur mozilla, et r.a.s.

dans ton dossier de profil thunderbird, renomme le dossier extensions en extensions_old puis retente de lancer TB depuis le terminal…
