disque dur externe dossier non accessible

Bonjour à tous
je suis en train de vider un vieux disque dûr externe qui beug régulièrement afin de formater pour voir si ça lui fait du bien ...
mais en déplaçant tous les dossiers présents sur ce disque dûr externe vers un autre disque dûr je me suis retrouvée coincée car un dossier ne veut plus s'ouvrir ... ça me dit ça à chaque foix

Si le disque beug régulièrement, c'est qu'il y a un vrai problème derrière (disque en fin de vie?)

Dans un premier temps, je te laisse lire le premier message de ce fil, ceci afin de mettre correctement en forme les futurs messages: https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1614731

Une fois que c'est fait, je te laisse donner le nom du disque externe qui pose problème, celui qui ne pose pas problème (l'autre disque externe), puis avec les deux disques externe branchés donner le retour de

lsblk -f
ls -l /dev/disk/by-id/

ce qui permettra de connaître un nom immuable des disques durs.

Ensuite, attends 10 secondes après avoir branché le disque dur externe qui pose problème et donne

dmesg | tail -n 30

alors le nom du disque dur qui beug : Seagate Backup Plus Drive
et celui qui fonctionne bien : storeva

Je propose de copier tout ce qui peut l'être du disque dur qui pose problème vers l'autre disque dur, et demander si possible à windows de réparer son système de fichiers. Tu as un ordi avec windows sous la main?

Pour essayer d'obtenir un résultat Smart, en se basant sur le site Smartmontools et la page sur les disque USB, il y a un modèle approchant de celui de Noetmi.

A tester ?

Il y a de fortes chances qu'il y ai des secteurs du disque en attente de réallocation. Ils resteront donc illisibles.

l'un des trois devrait marcher, si besoin on peut essayer avec un smartctl super récent

Normalement, il devrait y avoir des secteurs de secours, donc ce qui se trouve sur les secteurs illisibles sera perdu, ça c'est sûr car illisible, mais peut être qu'on pourra quand même récupérer des choses du dossier.

On n'arrive pas à accéder au rapport smart qui permettrait de connaître l'état du disque dur, sans ça on peut pas savoir si le disque a eu un petit problème ou si c'est l'annonce d'un futur problème.

Tu peux tenter

sudo smartctl -T verypermissive -d sat,12 -s on -a /dev/disk/by-id/usb-Seagate_BUP_Slim_BK_NA76XRA7-0:0

et donner

lsusb

afin de pouvoir faire des recherches dessus

Et aussi

sudo smartctl --scan | grep -i usb

Si on trouve pas avec ça on fera toutes les possibilités
