j'ai un problème avec mon Ubuntu Studio : mon serveur mysql ne démarre plus...

sudo systemctl start mysql me retourne :

Historique :
Hier, j'ai tenté de réinstaller mysql car j'avais perdu mes accès.
J'ai donc suivi ce tuto : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/mysql
(partie 7 réinstallation complète)

J'ai tenté de refaire cette manip et d'updater le système, mais rien n'y fait myslq refuse toujours de démarrer... Quelqu'un aurait il une idée ?

Normalement la procédure de la doc aurait du fonctionner.

Tes retours ont les lignes coupés, ce qui n'aide pas…

Regarde les contenu des logs : /var/log/mysql.log et /var/log/mysql.err

Je viens de mettre mon premier post à jour avec les copies complètes cette fois. Peut être saurez-vous identifier le problème...
(mes log mysql sont vides)

Petite précision, à toutes fins utiles, quand j'ai suivi le tuto mentionné plus haut, j'ai vraiment eu l'impression que mes commandes n'ont eu aucun effet.
En faisant 'entrée' je retombais sur l'invite sans aucune confirmation.

J'ai saisi, ligne par ligne :

sudo apt autoremove --purge mysql-server
sudo mv /var/lib/mysql /var/lib/mysql.bak
sudo mv /etc/mysql /etc/mysql.bak
sudo mkdir /etc/mysql /etc/mysql/conf.d
sudo apt clean

Et il me semble avoir eu une erreur sur : sudo mv /etc/mysql /etc/mysql.bak
Voilà, j'espère qu ça peut aider...

Après avoir exécuté ces commandes qui purgent toute installation de mysql-server il faut bien entendu réinstaller :

sudo apt install mysql-server

Le retour de journalctl -xe n'est utile qu’immédiatement après avoir tenté de redémarrer le service mysql, sinon il faut donner :

journalctl -u mysql

en fonction de la manière dont tu as installé, ta commande ne supprimera pas nécessairement par ex. mysql-server-5.7 ou mysql-server-core-5.7
