@pifouney, c'est bien de vouloir aider mais là tu ne réponds à aucune des questions posées… et du coup ce fil a disparu du topic « Discussions sans réponse » ce qui va l'enfouir davantage dans les profondeurs de l'oubli.
@vincen si ta Kubuntu ne trouve pas de pilote lui permettant de faire mieux que 1024×768 avec ce matériel, tes accès à distance quel que soit le logiciel utilisé ne pourront rien y changer.
d'ailleurs au boot Linux dit qu'il lui manque le driver pour la carte graphique → euh… il te dit quoi exactement ? Parce que souvent dans les messages d'erreur / avertissement il y a de bons conseils à suivre ;-)
L'idée c'est peut-être d'installer le pilote manquant depuis les sources fournies par le fabricant.
Je dirais qu'il s'agit de télécharger v10902_linux_freebsd_solaris.zip
Là-dedans il y a un dossier LinuxXorg puis Drv.
Dans l'archive lxdrv.tar.gz il y a un ficher README.TXT fort encourageant :

Il y a un fichier update.sh qu'il faut lancer ( après l'avoir rendu exécutable ) dans le dossier xorg78_6.
