Notifications publicitaires dans Xubuntu 18.04

J'ai un ordi sous Xubuntu 18.04 sur lequel j'ai des notifications publicitaires environ à chaque ouverture de session, de ce type :

Je ne pensais pas que c'était possible sous Xubuntu. Je me croirais sous un Windows vérolé 😮

Comme ce n'est pas moi qui utilise l'ordi, je n'ai aucune idée de comment ça a pu arriver. En tout cas, l'utilisateur n'a pas le mot de passe d'administration. (Sa session est administrateur et se connecte toute seule, il en a pas le mot de passe.)

J'ai d'abord pensé à une extension Firefox, mais il n'y a que ublock origin.

Comment savoir d'où ça vient ? :/

oui, les notifications des sites web via le navigateur…

Depuis firefox, dans la barre d'adresse mettre

about:preferences#privacy

descendre jusqu'à la section « permissions » et là dans « notifications » régler comme tu l'entends ( autoriser ou bloquer par site, ou bloquer toute demande de notification ).

Depuis chromium mettre dans la barre d'adresse

chrome://settings/content/notifications

là on peut jongler par site, mais apparemment pas bloquer toute demande de notification ( ? ) enfin j'ai pas vu…

Pour les ppa, il faudrait voir « dans » leur fichier descriptif s'ils font toujours référence à trusty / 14.04 ( le seul nom du fichier peut être trompeur, ça a pu être mis à jour « à l'intérieur » lors d'une mise à niveau vers 18.04 ).
C'est une info aussi lisible et modifiable dans « Logiciels & Mises à jour », onglet « autres logiciels ».

Il y avait plein de sites douteux qui avaient l'autorisation de notifications. J'ai tout désactivé du coup 😉

Mouais… les sites par défaut demandent une autorisation de l'utilisateur pour afficher les notifications, ça vient pas tout seul, hein…

Tu expliqueras à l'autre utilisateur qu'il faut lire et comprendre AVANT de cliquer sur « oui » ou « accepter »…

Tant que tu y es tu devrais aussi vérifier dans les préf. de Firefox s'il y a quelque chose d'activé concernant le partage de (geo)localisation.

Haha j'aimerais bien 😛 Mais l'utilisateur est un membre de ma famille, qui est autiste. Donc il n'aura probablement jamais de sa vie conscience de ces notions. Seule solution du coup : le bridage du PC pour limiter les risques. (Ce qui explique qu'il ne connaît pas le mot de passe 😉 )

Tu as vu que tu peux complètement bloquer ces demandes d'autorisations pour les notifications ? idem pour localisation, caméra, micro : cocher « Bloquer les nouvelles demandes d’accès à … »

Au final plus de peur que de mal. Ce n'était que des notifications intempestives, mais sans danger. Souvent sous Windows quand on a ce genre de symptômes, c'est l'arbre qui cache la forêt...
