ça m'a ouvert une fenêtre firefox de 2 x 3 cm, impossible à redimensionner/agrandir. Inutilisable en l'état, car n'est visible qu'une infime partie de la barre des tâches firefox et rien en dessous.

@cqfd93 je suis allé voir le post que tu indiquais. Mais ne comprends pas ce que je dois en retenir pour mon cas.

Chez moi cela s'ouvre correctement . Le fait que cela n'est pas le cas chez toi, c'est peut être dû (sans certitude) à ton problème.

Je constate d'après tes sources.list que tu as migré de ubuntu 14.04 à ubuntu 16.04. Je note que deb-src sont activés. Cela ne concernent que les développeurs , elles devraient être commentées .

Aux aidants:
Je pense (mais je vous demande confirmation^^) que l'on pourrait commencer par proposer de partir sur une sources.list neuve . Comme celle présentée là ---> https://gist.github.com/rohitrawat/60a04e6ebe4a9ec1203eac3a11d4afc1

Ah oui, je n'avais pas vu la suggestion. Je viens de consulter le man de dconf (merci pour la découverte) et c'est effectivement la première chose à faire 😉

Pour une meilleure visibilité, voici la proposition en question:

Et tu peux en faire autant pour Firefox que tu trouveras aussi dans /usr/bin/.

Lance le terminal et lance cette commande qui ne marchait pas parce que tu n'étais pas dans une session graphique :

Bonjour,

Cette manœuvre a pour but de mettre deux icônes sur le bureau : le terminal et firefox de manière à pouvoir les ouvrir par un double clic même quand la barre supérieure et la barre des lanceurs ont disparu.

Maintenant, je ne suis pas certaine que ça va marcher pour firefox mais si on ouvre deux terminaux, on peut en utiliser un pour les commandes et l'autre pour lancer firefox.

ps : une autre chose à tester dans un terminal ouvert dans la session unity qui déconne :

compiz --replace

pps : je ne vois rien d'anormal dans les sources.

Le souci est qu'après un redémarrage, elles avaient de nouveau disparu. J'ai alors retapé

compiz --replace

, et elles sont revenu. Après un redémarrage, disparues de nouveau.

Bon, il y a donc eu un gros progrès 🙂

Quand ton bureau a son aspect normal, lance CompizConfig Settings Manager avec la commande

et vérifie que Ubuntu Unity Plugin est bien activé (il est dans la section Bureau). S'il ne l'est pas, active-le.

Dans la section Préférences, tu peux aussi vérifier que
Profil Unity
Intégration Activer l'intégration avec l'environnement du bureau est bien coché.

Après ça, ferme ccsm et relance ta session.

Pour éviter que ça se reproduise, je ne sais pas, certains changement de paramétrages dans Compiz ont tendance à planter à cause de la carte graphique et il est fort possible qu'une mise à jour d'un pilote ait mis le souk.

Pour résoudre plus rapidement un tel problème, tu aurais intérêt à mettre une icône de Firefox et une du terminal sur le bureau et à enregistrer tes paramètres de Compiz pour pouvoir les restaurer au besoin (ça se fait dans ccsm).

Avec une réinstallation complète, tu dois dire adieu à Unity (c'est entre autres pour ça que je vais rester le plus longtemps possible sur 16.04). Qu'est-ce que tu entends par « comptes multi utilisateurs » ?

Sous 16.04 on peut sur un même ordinateur avoir plusieurs comptes indépendants. Cela permet à chacun d'avoir son propre compte et évite d'avoir plusieurs ordinateurs.
