J’ai installé en dual boot XP – LUBUNTU sur un portable Fujitsu siemens Amilo L7320GW
avec clé usb de démarrage « lubuntu 18.04.2-desktop-i386.iso (1.1GO).
ensuite comme j’ai installé le paquet xserver –xorg-video -openchrome pour la carte graphique
CN700/P4M800 Pro/P4M800 CE/VN800 Graphics [S3 UniChrome Pro]pour cela j’ai suivi les instructions du forum (l’affichage étant bloqué sur 640x480)

Malheureusement je n’ai pas pu aller plus loin car je n’ai de fichier xorg.conf mais un xorg.conf.d
donc je n’ai pas pu supprimer la fonction 3D comme indiqué
j’ai bien direct rendering :yes. Mais est ce bien la le problème ?
Le problème aujourd’hui est que le pc fonctionne mais me semble lent et la ventilation semble en sur activité permanente comparativement a ce qui se passe en windows ou cette ventilation s’active uniquement si on demande une tache. Je ne parle pas de lire une video.
j’ai modifie la valeur 60 en valeur 20 pour le fichier échange swap ;

depuis j’ai commandé 1GO de Ram (au lieu des 512 ko d’origine mais j’attends tj la livraison.
Ci-joint les caractéristiques du pc et fichier xorg (a noter que la version du xorg a changer apres l’installation du paquet : xserver –xorg-video –openchrome X.Org X Server 1.19.6 au lieu de X.Org X Server 1.20.5 après l’installation d’origine
