Pas facile. Le flashage reste dual (efi/legacy) comme il se doit.

Post 20 grub du buntu a bien vu recal en efi et l'ajouta à l'efi firmware mais on ne voit rien de tel dans le efibootmgr du boot-info ! Ni dans l'os-prober du buntu !

J'ai trouvé ça sur un autre forum, est-ce que tu peux m'aider à decrypter et me donner ton avis ? merci - l'utilisateur avait également 2 SSD (un avec windows10 et Ubuntu et l'autre avec recalbox)

La solution sous Ubuntu :
allez dans le DD de Boot créé par RECALBOX et ouvrez le fichier "grub.cfg"--> BOOT/boot/grub/grub.cfg
Ouvrir "Grub customizer" et ajoutez le script trouvé dans le "grub.cfg"
pour un Recalbox (normal) le script est : (le "hd2,1" dépend de la position de votre DD)
set root='(hd2,1)'
linux /boot/bzImage label=RECALBOX console=tty3 quiet loglevel=0
initrd /boot/initrd.gz
pour la version "Verbose" le script est : (le "hd2,1" dépend de la position de votre DD)

Hello, perso je ne me suis pas pris la tête pour faire mon dualboot ubuntu/recalbox.
J'ai recyclé un vieux HDD interne pour faire installation de recalbox.
Donc 1HDD ubuntu et un autre recalbox.
Etant donné que j'avais déjà grub d'installé, au boot, une fois sous grub je suis allé dans l'invite de command de grub via c.
Un coup de ls pour voir mes HDD connectés, puis ls (hdX,msdosX) et ls (hdX,msdosX)/ pour identifier la partition boot de mon disque dur recalbox. (hd2,msdos1) dans mon cas.
Une fois sous ubuntu j'ai édité le fichier /etc/grub.d/40_custom pour ajouter mon HDD recalbox dans le menu grub :

Bonjour, ça y est j'ai trouvé la solution via un boot-repair et grub customizer !!!!

Je vais essayer d'être clair :

1) j'ai installé boot-repair sur Ubuntu (voir le wiki) et lancé "réparation recommandée" sans rien modifié à ce qu'à fait cet utilitaire.

2) dans grub customizer, cela m'a crée un chemin vers le boot du disque dur Recalbox (et j'ai pu renommer ce chemin Recalbox directement dans grub-customizer), du coup j'ai pu aussi régler simplement le root delay et le choix de l'OS pour le démarrage par défaut toujours via grub customizer.

Résultat : mon PC (UEFI) démarre sur Recalbox sauf si je presse Echap, ce qui m'affiche grub 2 et me donne le choix de Recal ou Ubuntu.

Pas fait grand chose.

Par contre il semble que le grub de recal voit buntu, mais curieusement ce grub ne s'affiche pas au boot. Cela se règle en éditant /etc/default/grub a-priori celui de recal.

Puisque recal est l'os par defaut au boot, il t'affichera grub avec le choix recal/buntu.

Même en mettant Ubuntu par défaut ça fonctionne aussi 😉 A priori le boot-repair a fait du bon boulot et aussi le fait d'augmenter le root delay qui laisse le temps de faire "echap"
