Multi écran : affichage cloné et résolution faible

Bonjour,

Je suis sous la dernière version d'Ubuntu Gnome (20.04) et j'essaye de rajouter un 2e écran pour un affichage en continu (donc pas clôné).
N'ayant qu'une carte graphique j'ai acheté un "splitter" (une broche VGA mâle à connecter à ma carte graphique avec 2 sorties VGA femelles).

Auparavant j'avais essayé avec la carte graphique intégrée à la carte mère plus la carte graphique sans la moindre réussite.

Avec le splitter j'ai une résolution de seulement 1024 x 768 et deux écrans clônés. Dans les paramètres, il n'est reconnu qu'un seul écran.

J'ai parcouru les pages dédiées à xrandr, Xorg et cie, sans succès.

Habituellement mon écran principal de gauche (LG 22M35) tourne à une résolution de 1920 x 1080 et celui de droite (BenQ FP222 W) à 1680 x 1050.

Qui aurait une idée ?

Bon, problème partiellement résolu.

Au lieu d'utiliser un splitter, j'utilise le port vga pour l'écran principal (LG 22M35) en résolution de 1920 x 1080 (soit 16:9)

Pour le 2e écran (BenQ FP222 W) j'ai acheté un adaptateur DVI - VGA et miracle, deux écrans non clonés.

Reste le problème de la résolution du second : "Affichage inconnu, résolution 1024 x 768) soit 4:3.

Ça va nettement mieux, mais je suis sûr que c'est perfectible.

Quoique, en lisant le rapport "xrandr", serais-je déjà au maxi des capacités de la carte sur le 2e écran (DVI-0) ?
