Si le message d'erreur s'affiche avec :

(using password: NO)

cela signifie que l'utilisateur root s’authentifie avec un mot de passe.

Si on a oublié le mot de passe, on peut tenter une connexion avec :

sudo mysql --defaults-file=/etc/mysql/debian.cnf

J'ai formaté et suis repartie sur une install propre de 20.04

- J'installe lamp...

sudo apt install apache2 php libapache2-mod-php mysql-server php-mysql

- J'installe les modules courants...

sudo apt install php-curl php-gd php-intl php-json php-mbstring php-xml php-zip

Localhost ok... J'ai la page apache 2 Ubundu default

mysql me renvoit :

- J'ai tenté de reconfigurer phpmyadmin mais un moment ça bloque et je me retrouve sur mon erreur 403...

sudo dpkg-reconfigure phpmyadmin

- Depuis j'ai supprimé et purger phpmyadmin...

J'ai donc besoin d'aide pour installer et accéder à phpmyadmin. Merci d'avance...

PS : Je ne sais pas éditer le sujet de mon message, c'est plutôt un problème phpmyadmin désormais

#30,#31,#32 c'est pour gagner un peu de temps si on me le demande.

L'erreur en #28 est normale. Il faut utiliser apache2ctl et non apache2.
Je ne sais pas comment tu as fait pour te retrouver dans cette situation, mais pour remettre les choses en place :

sudo a2dismod mpm_event
sudo a2enmod mpm_prefork
sudo a2enmod php7.4
sudo systemctl restart apache2

J'ai désormais accès à localhost/phpmyadmin

Sauf que quand je tente de me connecter sur localhost/phpmyadmin :

connection en id root : mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1698): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'
connection en id phpmyadmin : mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'phpmyadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) en ayant bien mis le bon mot de passe... J'ai depuis le début et provisoirement mis le même partout...

Connecte toi en ligne de commande et renvoie le retour la commande suivante

SELECT user,plugin,host FROM mysql.user

Si le plugin est auth_socket, change le en mysql_native_password et essaie de connecter avec l'utilisateur root sur phpmyadmin

J'en étais arrivée au même résultat il y a deux trois jours, en faisant à peu près le même truc et c'est quand j'ai lancé l'install de dolibarr que dolibarr recommençait avec ces autorisations refusées type (HY000/1698): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'...

Depuis je confirme j'avais re-reformaté. Donc je trouve limite pour une LTS...

Du coup j'installe dolibarr ?
