Affichage graphique HS depuis dernier apt update/ apt upgrade

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai lancé un apt update && apt upgrade vendredi soir puis j'ai éteint mon PC...
Samedi matin surprise :-( mon affichage graphique déconne un max !

Sous tty1, tout fonctionne bien!

J'ai tenté une re-install. complète rien n'y fait, j'en ai après un problème de pilote graphique ...

QUelqu'un peut m'aider?

La solution résidait dans l'installation de la version 18.04.1, de façon à rester sur un noyau 4.15.

Les retours de commandes ne sont pas complets. Un retour complet doit contenir toutes les lignes depuis celle de la commande jusqu'à la ligne attendant la commande suivante, exemple :

Pour la carte graphique, je lis :

le problème est la carte graphique, voir ici → Radeon-9000 SE. Trop vieux (le pilote ne prend en charge que le radeon gratuit), ancienne connexion AGP (carte de remplacement non disponible ou uniquement disponible avec beaucoup d'effort, pilote également discutable) et peut-être même trop gourmand en énergie

Pour les dépôts debian c’est une fausse manip’ sur mon sources.list...c’est corrigé.

"jusqu'à jeudi ils faisaient le job" : donc c'est très probablement le dernier noyau qui n'est plus adapté à ta carte graphique.

À ta place, j'essaierai Lubuntu 32 bits (à cause des 2 Go de RAM et du processeur), mais
surtout en version 18.04.1, de façon à rester sur un noyau 4.15.
(Et c'est maintenu jusqu'en 2023, à part quelques paquets de base débugués depuis longtemps.)

Le problème graphique avec cette carte graphique ancienne
AMD/ATI RV280 Radeon 9200 SE AGPx4 [1002:5964] (rev 01)
dans Ubuntu 20.04 :

allégée 31 fois (30 ko)

/![/color] Pour diminuer la pollution et la consommation d'énergie, merci de penser à alléger vos envois chaque fois que possible !

C'est voisin (la déformation oblique en moins) du problème avec les nVidia de même génération :
