Je suis en dual boot. Je constate que lorsque je suis sur ubuntu mon pc ventille (pas à fond mais ça s'entend) contrairement à windows 10. J'avais le même problême sur windows uniquement en jeu ou en lançant des logiciels gourmands (normal). J'ai corrigé cela en réduisant l'usage du processeur, de la carte graphique,etc.
Sur ubuntu, j'ai installé TLP, powertop mais sans succès toujours ce ventilateur qui tourne 🙂

Je vois que tu as bien foutu en l'air le système d'installation/mise à jour. Qu'as-tu fait ces derniers temps pour que cela se produise ? Cherche bien dans tes souvenirs. Dans le cas contraire, tu es bon pour une réinstallation.
Je ne vois vraiment pas. Il n'y a pas moyen de faire un backup ou bien ? Je suis en dualboot, je ne veux pas faire disparaitre mon grub :/
J'hésitait à passer à Ubuntu 20 mais je ne sais pas. J'ai eu plusieurs "petits" problèmes en installant cette version.

Je viens de lire que cela pourrait venir du paquet libreoffice-math.

Essaye de la supprimer avec : 
sudo apt remove libreoffice-math
Ensuite, passe : 
sudo apt clean && sudo apt update
S'il n'y a pas d'erreur, passe aussi : 
sudo apt full-upgrade
Pendant qu'on y est donne le retour de : 
ls -la /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
L'upgrade a pris une bonne vingtaine de minutes ^^

. L'installation a débuté.
J'ai redémarré le système. Les drivers ont été installlés. Tout est neuf, même le grub j'ai l'impression que j'en avais grand besoin 🙂 Par contre, j'ai une notif de report de problème qui pop incessamment. Le ventilateur tourne toujours par contre.
Montre : 
ls -l /var/crash
Regarde dans Nvidia-settings (le gestionnaire de paramètres nvidia), si la carte intégrée AMD est bien désactivée. Dans le cas contraire, les deux cartes sont actives.

Il faudrait aussi le retour de :
