Bonjour, j'ai posté un message similaire sur le forum, dans la rubrique NAS, mais je m'apperçois que le problème que j'ai rencontré concerne aussi l'installation d'autres applications

voilà, donc quand je télécharge en demandant l'installation automatique (ouvrir avec installation de l'application par défaut), j'obtiens dans le gestionnaire de logiiels
«Impossible d'installer le fichier : il n'est pas pris en charge».
C'est le cas pour le logiciel µSynology drive, mais aussi pour les pilotes epson (qui tournaient tant bien que mal sous 18.04)

Rien du tout. Dans les fichiers .list de sources.list.d, ou dans le sources.list principal, tu mets des adresses de dépôts, qui contiennent eux-même des paquets et permettent de les gérer automatiquement. Ce que tu as, ce sont des paquets sans dépôts. Il faut les installer manuellement.

L'installation de paquets (deb), c'est généralement la Logithèque qui la gère. Après, avec les délires de Canonical sur le sujet, c'est pas complètement impossible que la fonctionnalité ait été enlevée depuis Ubuntu 20.04 ou 20.10. Tu peux aussi les installer en ligne de commande avec dpkg (option -i). Mais attention, dpkg ne gère pas les dépendances, il faut ensuite passer par APT pour les résoudre et corriger les dépendances manquantes s'il y en a (ou réparer le système si le paquet installé demande des dépendances qui ne sont pas dans les dépôts). En l'occurrence, si tes deux paquets sont dans ton dossier Téléchargements, tu peux les installer comme ça :

sudo dpkg -i ~/Téléchargements/synology-cloud-station-drive-4469.x86_64.deb
sudo dpkg -i ~/Téléchargements/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr_1.7.8-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

EDIT : si tes paquets s'ouvrent bien avec la Logithèque et qu'elle ne sait pas quoi en faire, c'est possible que ce soit à cause de dépendances manquantes mais c'est jamais très clair avec elle. Tu peux essayer en ligne de commande comme j'ai indiqué et poster le retour complet.

Y a t il une méthode propre pour résoudre ce pb?

Pour le reste, vos interventions m'ont aider, dpkg a fait le Taf. j'ai un probleme avec le scanner Epson, mais c'est d'un autre ordre, pour un autre fil.
En tous cas ma dernière question est : quand privilegier une methode d'install par rapport à une autre (dpkg vs apt-get)?

Je pense que les dépôts bionic sont désactivés (cf retour en #6) et que la commande de xubu1957 affiche les lignes concernées en supprimant juste le dièse.

maff : dans le doute (au cas où tu aies modifié les dépôts après le message #6), donne-moi le retour de ces commandes :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list

D'autre part, dans les commandes que je t'ai demandé de faire précédemment, je vois bien les deux dpkg -i mais je ne vois pas de sudo apt-get install -f après. Si tu ne l'as pas fait, fais-le, c'est très important (et donne le retour). Une fois que c'est fait, donne aussi le retour de :

apt list | grep "installé, local"

Pour ce qui est de la différence dpkg vs apt, c'est très simple : apt ne gère que les paquets des dépôts (en gros, il sert à les télécharger et vérifier les dépendances, et ensuite il les installe via dpkg). Pour installer des paquets (deb) manuellement, il n'y a que dpkg.

Ok, donc certains dépôts source bionic sont effectivement actifs, ce qui n'est pas bon du tout. Édite ton sources.list :

Supprime tout (ctrl + K permet d'effacer des lignes entières) et colle ça à la place :

Enregistre avec ctrl + O, valide le nom de fichier, ferme Nano avec ctrl + X puis recharge la liste des dépôts :

sudo apt-get update

Note que dans ton sources.list, il y avait un PPA (Jonathan Ridell) que je te fais supprimer, étant donné qu'il n'a pas de branche focal, donc il était de toute façon inutilisable avec l'adresse de dépôt que tu avais dans le fichier. Comme aucun paquet en venant ne semble apparaître dans les paquets orphelins, je suppose que tu ne l'utilisais plus. Jette quand même un coup d'œil aux paquets du PPA en question et dis-moi pour quoi tu l'utilisais.

Dans les paquets orphelins, il y a donc trois paquets epson et un paquet synology, ce sont les debs que tu as installés. Il y a aussi un vuescan que je n'identifie pas : c'est un pilote de scanner (ou quelque chose dans le genre) que tu as installé manuellement ou ça vient d'un ancien dépôt ?

Il y a aussi quelques restes de vieux noyaux. On va les trier, il y a probablement aussi des vieux fichiers de config qui traînent. Donne-moi le retour de :

uname -a
dpkg -l | grep linux-

(Mets bien le tiret après linux dans la deuxième commande, ce n'est pas une faute de frappe.)

pour le ppa jonathan riddell, je ne sais pas ce que c'est.
J'ai fait l'install hier, et j'ai simplement essayé d'installer les applis dont il est question ici.
Pour les anciens ppa de bionic, est il possible qu'ils n'aient simplement pas été éffacés lors de la mise à niveau?

Vuescan est une appli que j'ai installé ce matin pour essayer de regler mon probleme de scanner, mais ça n'a pas marché de toutes façons . Il faudra donc que je pense à désinstaller une fois tout ceci réglé.

Pour les noyaux, tu peux supprimer ça :

sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-image-4.15.0-122-generic linux-image-4.15.0-20-generic linux-modules-4.15.0-122-generic linux-modules-4.15.0-20-generic linux-modules-extra-4.15.0-122-generic linux-modules-extra-4.15.0-20-generic

(EDIT : attention, j'avais laissé un 5.4 dans la liste, je viens de corriger. En espérant que tu n'as pas vu mon message et lancé la commande entre temps.)

Concernant la mise à niveau :
- les dépôts Ubuntu actifs sont passés à la nouvelle version ;
- les PPA actifs sont passés à la nouvelle version sans vérifier si elle existe effectivement (en l'occurrence, le PPA jr est passé en focal alors qu'il n'a qu'une branche bionic au mieux) ;
- tous les dépôts tiers sont désactivés ;
- les dépôts inactifs ne sont pas traités, tout simplement parce que les lignes correspondantes dans les .list sont des commentaires et que le processus ne s'en occupe pas.

De fait, après une mise à niveau, il vaut mieux corriger les dépôt non traités (généralement ceux du code source, en deb-src) même si on les laisse désactivés. Surtout pour éviter les problèmes si un jour on les active. Et il faut vérifier les dépôts tiers (PPA et autres) pour voir s'ils sont toujours pertinents et à la bonne version, avant de les réactiver si on en a encore besoin et qu'ils sont utilisables.

Pour effacer vuescan si tu n'en as pas besoin :

sudo apt-get remove --purge vuescan
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge
