Grub a disparu !

Bonjour à tous !

Après une mise à jour de Windows 10 Pro Grub a disparu & il m'est donc impossible de booter ni sur Ubuntu ni sur Windows... j'ai ce message d'erreur:

error: unknow filesystem.

J'ai donc démarré sur une clé Ubuntu live & j'ai lancé Boot Repair avec la première option. Ce dernier me dit d'entrer ces lignes de commandes dans un terminal:

sudo chroot "/mnt/boot-sav/sda3" dpkg --configure -a
sudo chroot "/mnt/boot-sav/sda3" apt-get install -fy
sudo chroot "/mnt/boot-sav/sda3" apt-get purge -y grub*-common grub-common:i386 shim-signed

Je redémarre le PC & toujours la même erreur !!! Au secours !!!

On s'est mal compris, Tu as refais un boot-info, alors que c'est le retour boot-repair que je voulais voir pour comprendre ce qu'il ne faisait pas.

Cela est d'autant plus nécessaire que tu signales qu'une commande s'est très mal déroulée.
Ce que tu peux tenter
Lancer boot-repair
Contrôler qu'il s'exécute bien en mode LEGACY et pas EFI
Choisir options avancée et demander la réinstallation du grub
Puis fournir si possible son rapport d’exécution.

Hello !

J'ai enfin résolu mon soucis, grâce à cette vidéo ici. Voici la procédure que j'ai suivi:

1. Au démarrage du PC (menu rescue) j'ai entré ces lignes de commande:

set boot=(hd0,msdos3)
set prefix=(hd0,msdos3)/boot/grub
insmod normal
normal

2. A ce stade j'ai pu enfin accéder à mon Grub & démarrer sous Mint. Puis j'ai ouvert un terminal & entré ces commandes:

sudo grub-install --force /dev/sda
sudo update-grub

Maintenant j'aimerais juste comprendre pourquoi cette saloperie de MAJ Windows m'a créé une nouvelle partition cachée de 500 Mo qui a bousillé mon Grub sans rien me demander au préalable ?!

Qui te fait dire que cette partition vient d'être créée.
Je pense plutôt que windows a remis en état sa partition en éliminant une structure de boot inconnue de lui qui a probablement été installée par mauvais choix il y a quelque temps
sudo grub-install /dev/sda2

Tout simplement parce que je me suis efforcé de ne PAS l'avoir cette partition UEFI qui ne sert à rien puisque je suis en Legacy & MBR !

Lorsque j'ai installé Windows, j'ai bien vérifié que je n'avais qu'une SEULE partition à la fin de l'installation ! C'est après cette ... MAJ qu'elle est apparue !

Trois possibilités
Soit la partition existait et le démarrage de ubuntu s'est mis dedans
Soit la partition a été créée dans l'espace de ubntu, Dans ce cas ubuntu n'aurait pas pu mettre en route
Soit la partition a été créée dans l'espace de windows et windows a renuméroté les partitions. Ce qui n'est pas interdit. Bien au contraire car cela évite le message d'erreur disant que les N° de partitions ne sont pas dans l'ordre d'implantation physique.

=> Ton grub n'a pas été bousillé, il se trompe simplement de Numéro.

Et si ce NTFS est celui de C:, est-ce que Windows démarre encore ensuite ?
