Modèle HP EliteBook 840 G2 a écrit- Windows viré. Boot EFI par appui sur touche F9. Redémarrage au lieu d’arrêt à cause du Wake on LAN (sudo cp /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/disable_wol /etc/pm/power.d ;gksudo gedit /etc/pm/power.d/disable_wol ; changer ‘wol g’ par 'wol d' , ou dans le bios, menu BIOS Setup→Advanced→Build-In Device Option→Wake on LAN choisir Disable).
- installation en mode EFI de Ubuntu 20.04 64 bits seul dans l'ordi (Windows préinstallé a été viré). Secure Boot désactivé. Il faut presser la touche F9 au démarrage pour démarrer sur ubuntu : voir post damien-Brax
- En fait, grâce au 'Customized Boot' du BIOS HP (touche F10), il est possible de lancer grub au boot sans changer aucun fichier de configuration et de choisir le système, ce qui est pratique en cas de double-boot. Il suffit d'activer le 'custom boot' et d'ajouter le chemin \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi (attention, le clavier passe en QWERTY sous le BIOS) dans 'Define Customized Boot Option' puis de déplacer l'item 'Customized Boot' en tête de liste de 'UEFI Boot Order' (NB: le boot mode étant 'UEFI Hybrid' et le secure boot étant Off). Ceci a été vérifié sur une installation d'ubuntu 18.04 à côté de W10 Pro mais devrait fonctionner aussi avec la 20.04 14.04.4 64bits
