[RÉSOLU ! ]Pas de connexion wifi (connexion Ethernet possible)

Bonjour à tou.te.s,

Depuis quelques jours -et je ne sais pas pourquoi- ma connexion wifi ne fonctionne plus ! J'utilise donc la connexion Ethernet.
Comment faire pour me connecter en wifi ?
Ce qui est curieux, c'est que cela fonctionne correctement avec mon téléphone portable et mon mini PC portable !
Et lorsque je vais dans paramètres wifi, il est écrit : Aucun adaptateur wifi trouvé.
Que puis-je faire ?

Je rajoute une info : j'ai essayé d'activer le WPS sur l'écran de ma freebox mais il échoue à trouver un équipement wifi compatible WPS...

Merci beaucoup pour cette info : je comprends mieux ce qui m'arrive ! D'ailleurs il y a d'autres éléments qui ne fonctionnent plus correctement comme Ubuntu Software.
Donc ou j'attends que le nouveau Kernel 5.8 fonctionne correctement ou je reviens à l'ancien Kernel 5.4....
Dernière question : comment fait-on pour revenir à l'ancien Kernel ?

De mon côté, la connexion wifi ne fonctionne toujours pas (la connexion Ethernet, elle, fonctionne toujours)...

Je vois que mon problème est partagé depuis la survenue du noyau 5.8 !
Déjà, je peux te dire, @JP Scortani, comment j'ai réussi à installer le noyau 5.4. J'ai trouvé cette page : https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/amd64/linux-generic/download et
où j'ai téléchargé le noyau 5. à partit de "security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu" . Ensuite j'ai redémarré mon PC en appuyant sur la touche Majuscule et là, le GRUB apparaît et j'ai sélectionné le noyau voulue. Mais, apparemment, cela ne suffit pas et je crois qu'il faut supprimer le noyau 5.8 mais -comme je ne suis pas sûre de moi- j'attends qu'une personne ma conseille...
Depuis l'arrivée de ce fameux noyau, je suis "scotchée" près de ma box !!!
Je vais suivre le conseil de @xubu1957 et j'envoie le résultat du wificheck :

J'avoue que je ne comprends pas à quoi servent toutes ces indications...
En ce qui concerne @JP Scortani, il me semble qu'il peut rester dans cette discussion car il a le même problème que moi et j'avais les mêmes résultats sur les noyaux (noyau incomplet selon toi @xubu1957) avant d'installer le noyau 5.4...

Et personne pour me dire si ma commande pour supprimer le noyau 5.8 est correcte :

J'ai demandé bootctl pour m'assurer qu'il n'y avait pas le blocage du secure-boot.

Donc, j'ai réussi à supprimer le noyau 5.8 MAIS, à ma grande déconvenue, je m'aperçois que je n'ai toujours pas le wifi !!!
Quelque chose doit m'échapper...
