bon, j'ai essayé de remettre gdm 2.20. Le souci est qu'au démarrage il me dit qu'un serveur X est déjà en cours d'exécution sur l'affichage 0, qu'il va donc en essayer un autre. dès fois il y arrive, dès fois non.

J'ai donc réinstallé gdm 2.28 via la console, fait un
sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm
redémarré la bécane et et voici ce que je trouve dans syslog pendant que la fenêtre de connexion s'affiche trois fois (je rappelle : j'entre le mot de passe, ça mouline, l'écran passe au noir, revient à gdm et rebelote. La troisième fois il passe au noir, mouline et revient sur la bonne résolution d'écran et Gnome apparaît).

J'espère avoir donné assez d'éléments. Faut-il que je reconfigure Xorg ? Mais comment (la doc est assez complexe à ce sujet, avec Karmic, Nvidia ancienne, etc.)
