Epiphany dans les dernieres versions propose en extension adblock.
Mais pour ceux qui utilisent breezy (ou les versions précédentes) avec les programmes par defaut, on ne peut toujours pas installer adblock, j'ai cherché un peu et j'ai trouvé une solution pour bloquer les pubs.
Avec userContent.css, ça marche pour FF, epiphany et peut-être avec d'autres (mozilla ? kmeleon ?) peu importe le système d'exploitation.
D'abord j'avais trouvé
ce fichier disponible sur mozilla.org, mais il y a toujours des pubs résistantes.
Ensuite je suis allé sur un site assez complet pour le blocage des publicités
http://adblock.free.fr, et j'ai lu le passage sur userContent.css, il propose de l'utiliser en complément de adblock, je trouve ça vraiment inutile avec une bonne liste je n'ai plus de publicité, je n'ai jusqu'à présent jamais rencontré de pubs résistantes à FF & adblock (enfin d'après mes souvenirs) je ne vois donc pas l'intérêt de rajouter encore un autre "tueur de pub" par contre on peut l'utiliser pour epiphany.
adblock.free.fr propose son propre fichier, je l'ai testé, il bloque des pubs que le 1er (mozilla) ne bloque pas et inversement, ils sont complémentaires.
En associant les deux c'est parfait, je n'ai plus rencontré de publicité.
Je ne suis pas sûr, mais je crois que contrairement à adblock cette méthode bloque seulement les pubs, mais les telecharge quand même, donc il n'y a pas ou très peu de gain de vitesse, je n'ai pas trop compris, faudrait verifier faire des tests, mais je n'ai pas envie.
Comment faire ?
Il faut créer deux fichiers .css : antipub.css et userContent.css.
1 - On va d'abord créer le fichier antipub.css, il doit se trouver dans le répertoire chrome (peu importe le navigateur FF/epiphany) pour epiphany il se trouve là :
/home/nom_utilisateur/.gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany/chrome
vous allez dans votre dossier personnel et faites Ctrl + H pour afficher les dossiers cachés.
Dans le dossier chrome il y a déjà deux exemples de fichier, ouvrez le fichier
userContent-example avec un éditeur (bluefish, ou gedit, ou autre chose) remplacer son contenu par le code de
cette page et enregistrez-sous avec ce nom :
antipub.css.
2- Recommencez l'opération, ouvrez le fichier
userContent-example, remplacez son contenu par le code de
cette page puis rajoutez au début du fichier cette commande :
@import url("antipub.css");

Enregistrez-sous et supprimez la fin du nom, c'est à dire le nom doit être exactement :
userContent.css (attention la majuscule).
Redémarrez epiphany si il était ouvert, et faites des essais, pour l'instant je n'ai pas rencontré de publicité.
Pour les sites lycos ça n'enleve pas la frame, mais déjà elle est vide donc pas de pub, avec FF et adblock je ne vois plus la frame du tout.
Vous pouvez surement en faire qu'un de fichier, mais je trouve que c'est mieux comme ça pour bien les différencier et les supprimer/remplacer/mettre à jour.
Pour ceux qui ont adblock avec epiphany ou FF je pense que ça sert à rien, à part comme complément si vous avez encore des pubs.

je n'ai rien trouvé sur le wiki et sur le forum, ce n'est pas vraiment forcement utile à beaucoup de personnes, mais ça l'est déjà pour moi 😃
