Problème de localisation: Ubuntu moitié français/moitié anglais

Bonjour,

J'ai remarqué il y a un mois ou deux que les options de certains programmes sont à moitié en français et à moitié en anglais.

Voilà ce que cela donne :

Les applis concernées :
- Screenlets
- Compiz
- Ubuntu Tweak
- Disk Manager
- Prise en charge des langues

J'ai l'impression que ce problème ne concerne que des applis GNOME. Tous les autres programmes sont bien 100% en français (Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice, etc)

J'ai fait des recherches sur ce sujet dans le forum, et aucune des solutions proposées n'a donné de résultat (ré-installation des paquets de langue, de Compiz, suppression complète du support de l'anglais... rien à faire !)

Mon système :

Ubuntu 9.10 (installation initiale PC-ubuntoo 9.04 => mise à jour à la sortie de Karmic)

Tous les paquets de langue -fr sont installés :
- hunspell-fr
- kde-l10n-fr
- language-pack-fr
- language-pack-fr-base
- language-pack-gnome-fr
- language-pack-gnome-fr-base
- language-pack-kde-fr
- language-pack-kde-fr-base
- language-support-fr
- language-support-writing-fr

Si je demande de l'aide, c'est que j'ai d'abord essayé toutes les possibilités, à commencer par l'outil de prise en charge des langues : j'ai décoché l'anglais dans la liste des langues et malgré tout il reste des traces de l'anglais quelque part.

Je déterre le topic car j'ai exactement le même problème sous Ubuntu 10.10
Tous les paquets de langues sont installés et le résultat de la commande locale m'affiche le même résultat que pour gizou75

Sur un fil attenant , il est dit qu'il s'agit d'une blague et qu'il suffit d'une mise à jour pour tout remettre en ordre.
Dans tous les cas, j'ai eu ce problème et j'ai installé GDM 2.32 trouvé sur cette page :

Bonjour,
Le tableau de bord est en anglais, Evolution, pas Firefox, j'ai essayé d'installer gdm (proposé par squash51) mais libdbus est non satisfait.
Je suis sous Ubuntu 10.04.
