[gnuplot] n'affiche pas les courbes !!

Bonjour,
c'est mon premier post ici dans ce forum, et j'espère trouvé la solution pour mon problème,
en faite j'essai d'utilisé gnuplot pour afficher mes résultats obtenus dans des courbes, mais j'arrive pas à le fonctionner, je l'ai bien installé
et je le lance dans le terminal mais, après la commande >plot "ma fichier.out"
rien se passe, meme avec
gnuplot> plot sin(x)
est ce que quelqu'un a rencontré ce genre de problèmes !!

Essaye de taper dans un premier temps "set term x11".

gnuplot> set term x11
^
unknown or ambiguous terminal type; type just 'set terminal' for a list
et quand je liste les possibilité avec "set term" je trouve pas "x11"
NB: j'utilise gnuplot 4.4!! je vais retourner sur 4.0 et réessayé la commande !

re bonjour, j'ai installer la version 4.0 et tjr meme problem !!!

autre petite question (débile) comment je peux supprimer gnuplot !!!! car après cette commande "sudo apt-get remove gnuplot"
toujeour je le trouve !!!!!!
