Xcfa : le couteau suisse de la conversion audio... [ Résolu !!! ]

Précision:
Ta machine est en 64 bits et le package Xcfa est prévu pour du 32 bits mais cela doit -en théorie- fonctionner :rolleyes:

Je viens de tester sur une 'pure' install Kubuntu Edgy Eft 6.10 ...
L'intégration des paquets tiers -depuis Xcfa- n'est pas à jour et -effectivement- cela n'a pas été une installation simple depuis le dépôt

J'ai testé une compilation mais une mise à jour du dépôt a été nécessaire.
Les dépôts utilisés: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/depots/edgy en remplacement des anciens.

La compilation a été effectuée avec:
./autgogen --disable-ansi
make
sudo make install

En attendant la prochaine version avec toutes les corrections que cela implique

Pour info...
J' ai installé xcfa sur Feisty (i386) et j' ai également ce bug :

= Segmentation fault =
= Adressage mémoire invalide

mais seulement si je coche les fichiers avec l' option normalize.
Sans cette option les fichiers sont convertis sans problème.

La paquet xcfa_3.1.9_i386.deb a été installé avec GDebi, le paquet shorten_3.6.0-1_i386.deb a été installé selon la procédure proposés sur le site :

sudo dpkg --unpack shorten_3.6.0-1_i386.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

ma machine est effectivement 64 bits (athlon64 3200) mais je tourne en 32 bits.

Ce programme xcfa m'est très utile, j'ai néanmoins un soucis de conversion lorsque je choisis l'option normalise. Le fichier converti ne semble pas être écrit sur le disque.

alors heu comment dire.. déjà merci pour la mise à jour et la citation de mon speudo sur ton site

ensuite, un miracle s'est produit... j'installe tellico pour test. une libraire s'est installée en dépendance. si quelqu'un sait s'il ya un système d'historique d'installation de paquets. je pourrait te dire laquelle...

donc j'ai retesté et.. xcfa s'est ouvert. j'ai installé les modules complémentaires sans messages d'erreur et j'ai même pousser le vice à convertir 9 fichiers shn => tout à fonctionner !!

mais je suis encore en 3.1.9

du coup, je ne sais pas si je vais passer à la 3.1.10...

autre question, existe-il un log quelque part au sujet de la conversion (histoire d'avoir les détails) ?

La nouvelle version semble encore poser problème en ce qui concerne la normalisation.

Lorsque je demande une normalisation et une conversion mp3, par exemple, la conversion se fait d'abord, puis la normalisation est lancée après sur le wav initial. C'est dommage, car cela n'est pas vraiment utile dans cet ordre

? Je croyais qu'il fallait convertir avant de normaliser !
Ma façon de penser serait elle a l'inverse de la communauté :rolleyes:

Re B52,

Tu ne m'offense point, c'est peut-etre moi qui ai mal compris. Actuellement j'utilise Gnormalize pour rehausser le niveau de mes Wav avant de les convertir en mp3. Gnormalize effectue les étapes dans l'ordre suivant :

FLAC -> WAV -> Normalize du WAV -> MP3

C'est pour cela que je pensais que xcfa devait faire de même.

Que les spécialistes du son sous linux nous éclairent de leur savoir.
