You are receiving this email because you have an account on the
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org website, and changes will
occur on the site beginning on November 1st that will require
action on your part.
Phase 1 of the website changes is that an existing OpenOffice.org
main site user account is needed to log in to this site.
Phase 1 will occur on Monday, November 1.
After November 1, you will need to provide your OpenOffice.org e-mail.
Please go to
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/user?destination=user/xxxxx/edit
and change your e-mail address to your OpenOffice.org main site
user name and add @openoffice.org to get a valid e-mail,
like:
user_name@OpenOffice.org, then click 'submit'.
You will then get an activation e-mail with a link to your registered
OpenOffice.org main site e-mail, which you have to click in order to
finish and verify the e-mail change. An e-mail without that link is
send to your former e-mail just for information.
If you do not have an account, please go to the OpenOffice.org
website to create:
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/Join
After that come back to the extension website and change your e-mail
there.
For your information: E-mails send to an address like
...@OpenOffice.org are forwarded to your registered e-mail on
the main site. To see which e-mail it is, log in to:
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/TLogin and go to:
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/UserEdit
If you do not provide your OpenOffice.org e-mail within three months
of the phase 1 date (by February 1, 2011), your account will be
inactivated on the extensions website. Reminders will be sent during
the three-month period.
Please take into account that your passwords on the main site and
the extensions website might be different. That will be changed in
phase 2:
Phase 2 will start after phase 1, where you will get an additional
mail about your account at the OpenOffice.org extension repository
website telling you your username and to use your main site password.
